Pittwater RSL is proud to announce the 'Pittwater Community Excellence Program' launch in 2024 to recognise and appreciate the tireless work of volunteers in our community clubs. The primary focus of this program is to acknowledge the efforts of volunteers who work tirelessly with grassroots sporting organisations that we fund. The program aims to develop a strong relationship with our volunteers and recognise their hard work and dedication.
The 'Pittwater Community Excellence Program' is designed to show appreciation to those supporting the clubs we sponsor. The program will recognise the contribution of volunteers to their Club and the community by awarding them a $200 voucher to the Club. Additionally, the program will culminate in a 'Pittwater Community Excellence Award', and one winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
"We are very excited to launch this program and hope it will inspire more people to volunteer and support the clubs we sponsor," said Jason Manning, CEO of Pittwater RSL. "We recognise that the volunteers do it for the love of the Club and the code, and we aim to boost morale and engagement levels and promote greater goodwill between our Clubs."
Clubs are encouraged to nominate a 'Volunteer of the Quarter.' If you want to nominate someone, please send their details via email to community@pittwaterrsl.com.au, along with a photo of the volunteer and a summary of their service to your Club. Please note the deadlines for nominations:
